My ex just signed up for facebook a few days ago. I received a generic email invite asking me to start a facebook page (I don’t have one). I am trying to figure out whether he realizes he invited me or not. He most likely used the contact imports with Yahoo.
How many of you have accidently invited someone to Facebook- how does it work? Or is it set up so that you have control over who gets an invitation?

I have just set up my facebook account and was wondering if there is any limits on the amount of friends you can add in a day. I use twitter and got banned for following to many people to soon. Is this the same as facebook as i don’t wnat to loose my acount .

I just joined twitter a few days ago. I posted a few messages (tweets?), nothing fancy. And yet i have people following me like herds – about 10 an hour. Does that make sense? How did all of them find me? What’s in it for them?

I find that I’m addicted to Facebook and I want to acquire as many friends as possible, take lots of photos of myself in social settings, get as many wall posts as I can and give people the impression that I’m popular. I find that this is intruding into my life and interfering with my life since I log onto Facebook everyday!
How can I break this addiction? I have low self-esteem and I feel intimidated by popular, sociable people and I want to show them that I’m someone.
