My parents won't let me have a Facebook account because they are worried about safety and security. They both have Facebook accounts and use it all the time. I don't understand why I can't have one... Does anybody have any suggestions?

Currently, if someone enters the email address you use to log on that account into the search bar, you will be able to find that persons facebook account. I do not want this to happen, is there anyway to get rid of this?
