Question by me: Why do media conservatives (?) like Levin and Malkin believe the “Web 2.0″ nonsense replaces pro reporting?
It’s absolute garbage. The professional reporters and journalists are certainly biased towards the liberal side, but to believe that the utopian “Web 2.0″ and Internet garbage replaces on-site reporting and journalism is nonsense. I’ve also heard nonsense like that the newspapers are going broke when in fact they’re going on-line. Their economic situation’s worsening, but it’s not anywhere near bankruptcy or anything like that. What gives?

What gives is the fact that increasing numbers of Americans with common sense are realizing that mainstream news sources are pushing their own political agenda and that the internet news is replacing print and TV news as a source of information for those who demand accuracy instead of bias. The “professional reporters”, as you put it, are no longer professional. Using terms like “garbage” and “nonsense” doesn’t change the facts.
