How To Fix Facebook Comments From Posting Them Into The Live Feed?

Okay i need help, how can i fix my facebook problem? The problem is that everytime i comment on someone's wall it shows up in the live feed. It never did this before and i remember specifically setting it so that it would not post publicly and now when i try to do it again that certain setting is gone. I know facebook has done some changes and maybe a few of you have fixed yours back the way you wanted it. How can i change my setting back?
