How Do I Delete My Facebook Account Rather Than Just Inactivate It?

I don’t have time to keep up with my facebook account and wish to delete it (it is currently inactivated) I cannot find any obvious and easy way of removing it and all my details. Surely the owners don’t make it deliberately difficult to delete personal information.

How Do I Upload A Video To Facebook That Is Longer Than 2 Minutes?
