Twitter: How To Block That Dumb Pop-up At The Top Of The Screen?

You know how if you change the tiniest little thing on Twitter, a white bar drops down from the top of the screen, covering up everything? This is so annoying. Has anyone figured out a way to block this stupid thing from showing up?
