There is no way that you can delete your Facebook account, as I know of. But you can do something else that is similar to deleting. You can delete all of your pictures, all of your info and you can change your name. That way you will not exist on Facebook, well at least not under your real name. You can delete all of your friends too, and make your account private.
I forgot to say, you can deactivate your account. Go to Settings and on the end you will see “Deactivate” option.
